1. What BIDOVA is
BIDOVA is a marketplace where homeowners describe a project and local contractors submit bids. BIDOVA is not a contractor, does not perform work, is not a party to any agreement you reach, and does not handle payments between homeowners and contractors.
2. Accounts
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. We may suspend an account that misuses the service or provides false information.
3. Homeowners
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you post, for choosing which bid to accept, and for the agreement you make with the contractor you hire. When you award a project, your contact details are released to that contractor. Verify credentials, references and insurance yourself before work begins.
4. Contractors
You must complete verification before you can submit bids, and the information and documents you submit must be true, current and yours to provide. Bids must be genuine and priced on the published scope. Do not attempt to contact a homeowner outside BIDOVA before you are awarded a project, and do not use another business's account or credentials.
5. What verification means
Verification means we reviewed the business, licence and insurance information a contractor submitted at the time they applied. It is not a guarantee of a contractor's quality, workmanship, current licence or insurance status, pricing, timeliness, or ability to complete your project, and it is not an endorsement or a warranty. BIDOVA does not guarantee payment, performance or outcomes for either side.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misrepresent who you are, scrape or bulk-collect other users' data, attempt to access accounts, projects, bids or documents that are not yours, or interfere with the security of the service.
7. Content
You keep ownership of what you post and grant BIDOVA permission to host and display it as needed to run the marketplace. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
8. Service availability
The service is provided as is. We may change or interrupt features, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, BIDOVA is not liable for disputes, losses, damages or costs arising from work arranged through the marketplace.
